NFL Week 11
Chicago (6-3) @ Miami (5-4) Thursday Night Game on NFL Network- The Bears are looking to stay on top of the NFC North while Miami is trying to keep close in the AFC Wild Card picture. The uncertainty of Chad Henne's knee may make that difficult for the Dolphins. My pick: Bears
Green Bay (6-3) @ Minnesota (3-6)- Chilly and (lookatmy) Willy need to turn this Viking ship around or both could lose their jobs. If Green Bay wins, Childress may be out as Head Coach and Favre could be on the bench. I don't think either would be bad for the Vikes. My pick: Packers
Oakland (5-4) @ Pittsburgh (6-3)- The Raiders have won 3 straight and are playing better than they have in a long time. Pittsburgh got destroyed by New England on Sunday night and looks to bounce back. Should be a smash-mouth game. And a close one at that. My pick: Steelers
Tampa Bay (6-3) @ San Francisco (3-6)- The 49ers have finally found their starter. And his name is Smith. Troy Smith. San Francisco seems to be playing with more energy and hope. I smell an upset! My pick: 49ers
Indianapolis (6-3) @ New England (7-2)- New England showed everyone what they are capable of against the Steelers and I don't see them letting up this week. My pick: Patriots
New York Giants (6-3) @ Philadelphia (6-3)- These two teams battle for the top spot in the NFC East after both playing in embarrassing games last week. The Giants were embarrassed by the now 2-7 Cowboys and Philadelphia thoroughly embarrassed Donovan McNabb and the Redskins. Mike Vick was phenomenal for the Eagles and will likely run and throw his way past the G-Men, as well. My pick: Eagles
College Football Week 12
#6 Stanford (9-1) @ Cal (5-5)- It's the Big Game! Throw Cal's record out the window for this game. They held #1 Oregon to 15 points last week and I would expect them to show up for this rivalry game. It should be close. My pick: Stanford
#9 Ohio State (9-1) @ #20 Iowa- The Hawkeyes will try to bounce back at home after losing to Northwestern 21-17. Ohio State will have their hands full but they are a good team and should be able to handle it. My pick: Ohio State
#16 Virginia Tech (8-2) @ #24 Miami (7-3)- Miami is 0-2 against ranked teams this year. I don't think this game will be as close as it looks like it should be. My pick: Virginia Tech
#13 Arkansas (8-2) @ #21 Mississippi State (7-3)- Another game that looks like it should be a good one. Except Mississippi State has really struggled against ranked SEC opponents this year. Guess what! Arkansas is ranked and in the SEC. My pick: Arkansas
#8 Nebraska (9-1) @ #19 Texas A&M (7-3)- Both teams come into this game riding 4 game winning streaks. I'm going to go out on a limb and say one team will lose, and it's probably not the team you were thinking. My pick: Texas A&M
#23 Utah (8-2) @ San Diego State (7-3)- Utah is reeling after losing its last two game by a combined score of 75-10. San Diego State has been playing well all year. You do the math. My pick: San Diego State
